THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

My therapeutic approach towards healing has always been relational, strength-based, and rooted in creativity. Therapy goals, processes, and outcomes are all based on the changes you desire, and the needs you have identified.    Although process-driven and compassionate, my approach remains somewhat directive - with you fully at the helm.  Regardless of the changes you may desire - a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship must first be established.  The relationship then becomes the foundation on which change is built.  I believe my dedication to kindness, respect, safety, and empathy are of benefit when trying to form a strong therapeutic foundation. With this in mind, I also recognize that as human beings there is a natural energy that exists between two people that also informs the relationship.  Should we find a connection, a therapeutic journey may begin, but should a strong relationship for some reason not develop, with integrity and without ego – I will support you to find other options for therapy that may be a better fit.
